I add a pinch of cloves, but not enough that you could pick it out. Just an elusive pinch that has you thinking what is that flavour? It enhances the tomatoes. I cannot imagine putting cinnamon into it.Marie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-6824052651705085002014-07-14T15:48:21.325+01:002014-07-14T15:48:21.325+01:00My husband LOVES Bolognese sauce!

I was never a fussy eater but unlike my mother's sauce, she put cinnamon in her sauce. The flavor was so disagreeable for me that I couldn't eat it. When she saw I wasn't eating, she inquired if the food was okay. I was very embarrassed to tell her that I really didn't like it. I still remember that like it was yesterday. We never went back for dinner again. :-/ Valerie H.https://www.blogger.com/profile/01676002579226473400noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-39667164398007656182014-07-14T14:49:40.642+01:002014-07-14T14:49:40.642+01:00That's so funny Monique! We cannot eat anyone elses but ours or our mom's!

My mother wasn't very adventurous with her cooking because my father liked everything to stay the same! He did not mind "eye" talian spaghetti done her way because it was flavourless and he didn't want anything too spicy! My sister is finding it a bit of a challenge cooking to please both them and still please her and her partner!Marie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-79420671427695657832014-07-14T13:57:29.621+01:002014-07-14T13:57:29.621+01:00My mom always made her own sauce ..and I did..and ...My mom always made her own sauce ..and I did..and my girls do..as a child I couldn't eat anyone's spaguetti but my mom's:)
Yours sound delicious!La Table De Nanahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04358539954508050792noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-48138436404363763712014-07-14T05:38:36.027+01:002014-07-14T05:38:36.027+01:00You can't beat fresh farm stand tomatoes Carol...You can't beat fresh farm stand tomatoes Carol! xxooMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-65023278840964648472014-07-14T05:17:33.045+01:002014-07-14T05:17:33.045+01:00This looks great. I think I may wait until the plum tomatoes are at the vegetable stand. Buttercuphttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03804094230127512943noreply@blogger.com
