I visited my brother in England a couple of years ago and he cooked broad beans freshly picked from his garden. They were delicious. Since my return to Aus. I bought a pack of frozen broad beans to cook and introduce my lovely husband to them. Sad to say they were awful. I didn't realise that you had to double peel them! They were so tough...ugh. Since I refuse to be beaten we have planted them in our garden this year and they are just setting pods. I am so looking forward to cooking them "correctly" and now I have your recipe to use to trial them.
