It has a subtly earthy & grassy flavor & aroma, yet sweet, similar to floral & honey. it is also responsible for that beautiful color in this jam. I hope you like it and find the expense worth it! xoMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-30511926154320375222022-06-27T11:40:01.995+01:002022-06-27T11:40:01.995+01:00I am new to saffron. It did yellow the rolls.

I am wondering if a pinch is around 1/4 teaspoon? I ask because I get the saffron with about 4 shreds in a vial for about $20. I don't mind the cost if I get the flavor correct, and this recipe looks oh so yummy.

Thanks for any help you can give.ladycbmechhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15412850164737625534noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-84527626528571784762017-09-05T06:19:01.598+01:002017-09-05T06:19:01.598+01:00I always really enjoyed it and my family really en...I always really enjoyed it and my family really enjoyed the fruits of my labors Jan. I have helped my parents a few times, but have never done it alone.
I've seen that some companies have put out an electric one that u can use by the sink. Then when ur done it has a spigot to take out the water. No lugging it from stove to sink and worrying about hurting ur back.
Big Hugs!Jhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07012803545016130390noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-88530770609852006752017-09-04T14:56:27.533+01:002017-09-04T14:56:27.533+01:00Jam sugar is like regular granulated sugar Monique...Jam sugar is like regular granulated sugar Monique, except it has pectin already added.
