I loved them, and the nectarines also, especially the white ones. I am so pleased you enjoyed the cod. Can you believe I have been unable to find good cod here? Loads of Haddock, but no cod! Its unbelievable. It used to be so abundant! I prefer cod to haddock. This is a really lovely recipe and it makes me happy you tried and enjoyed it! Thank you so much! xoxoMarie Raynerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00407913432222377267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-49515398611441097402021-07-17T18:27:11.559+01:002021-07-17T18:27:11.559+01:00I've seen those peaches here - they are sold a...I've seen those peaches here - they are sold as paraguayos. I've never bought them as they look weird. Actually the stone fruit sold here is not worth buying mostly. They pick them green in southern Europe and it feels like we are the last stop on the route and get what is left. It's never fresh or top quality. I was very spoiled being brought up in a country where stone fruits were wonderful.

Anyway, we had this for dinner tonight as there were some lovely cod fillets at the fishmongers. This was ideal as it has been hot again today and I wanted something light but still full of flavour. I used ciabatta for the salad and the same vegetables that you used. I didn't feel like we needed anything else as it was quite satisfying. A lovely dish for summer.Mariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04088355577823930786noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7100882347408067241.post-85673678940694022512011-07-20T14:44:19.284+01:002011-07-20T14:44:19.284+01:00Those peaches are saturn peaches.
